What scoring model does Credit Score use?

VantageScore 3.0

What bureau does Credit Score pull credit profiles from?

TransUnion

Can the credit score in Credit Score differ from other credit monitoring apps or loan applications?

Yes. Three major credit reporting bureaus - Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion - and two scoring models - FICO or VantageScore - determine credit scores. Financial institutions/lenders use different bureaus, as well as scoring models. Over 200 factors of a credit report may be considered when calculating a score, and each model may weigh credit factors differently. Hence, no scoring model is completely identical but should be similar.

How often can you refresh your credit score in Credit Score?

Every 24 hours. To ensure up-to-date information, profiles are automatically refreshed every 7 days.

Will enrolling or accessing Credit Score affect credit and potentially lower a score?

No. Checking credit scores on Credit Score is a "soft inquiry" which does not affect a credit score.
