EMV Cards

EMV - or, as they are more commonly known, "chip" cards are on their way to Coastline members! These cards add an additional layer of security against fraud. Please take a moment to review the below information about debit and credit cards.

Debit Cards – What to Expect

If this is the first debit chip card you have received, your card number has changed.

Because your card number has changed, you MUST both Activate and Select a NEW PIN for the new card.

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU RECEIVE YOUR NEW CARD

  • Activate your new card – to activate, call the number found on the sticker affixed to your new card
  • Select a PIN – immediately after you have activated your card you will be prompted to select a PIN
  • Your old card will be deactivated – please destroy it once your new card is activated. Your old card will no longer work after 11/30/2015.

Notify any companies that automatically bill you with your new card information.

This includes all companies that automatically bill your card every month, such as utilities, gym memberships, etc., to avoid any missed payments on future charges.
